Pressure Tester CHTX

The Winona Van Norman CHTX pressure tester machine emulates a running engine for heads and blocks. Using high temperature and high internal pressure through the workpiece enables you to detect the smallest hairline cracks. The LCD digital screen indicates power on, and current temperatures, and allows pre‐set temperatures and pressure alarms. Big enough for Cummins ISX

Operations
Our system ensures that all side and end ports are swiftly and effectively sealed using universal closure devices and a specialized cradle lifting mechanism, which applies optimal sealing pressure. The jack posts are fully adjustable to fit any cylinder head shape, including wedge, parallel, and overhead cam designs, easily adapting to differences in thickness.
Heads are measured outside the frame, and the jack posts can be preset within the frame to accommodate any automotive or diesel head up to 7-1/8″ thick, using our cylinder head thickness gauge. The posts can also be adjusted for heads that aren’t parallel. They support heads via head bolt holes for V-6 and V-8 engines, or with parallel bars for parallel heads and overhead cam heads with cam towers, and crossways bars for diesel heads.
